Your Vedic Sidereal Placements
Sidereal refers to the measurement of time based on the position of the stars. It is the measurement Astronomers use to map the sky, and what all Vedic Astrologers use to calculate the placements in a birth chart. The Tropical system, used most commonly by Western Astrologers is based on the seasons, where the Sun moving into Aries always occurs at the same time each year. Although barely observable year to year, or even over a lifetime, the Earth’s rotation axis shifts very slightly at 1 degree every 72 years.
This gives the perception of the Zodiac constellations moving backwards in relation to time of year, it's part of a 26,000 year cycle called Precession of the Equinoxes.

As of now, the difference between Sidereal calculations and Tropical calculations is 24 degrees which is almost a whole sign difference. Look up to the night sky and what you see will align with the sidereal calculations.

p.s the gender selection option is not important or relevant but it's there as this is a classic system.
